Heydewirt am Peetzsee Restaurant & Pension in Gruenheide

We have eaten there several times. So far it has always been tasty and plentiful. A friendly team, a neat ambience and a great view round off every visit there. We can also only recommend the current delivery service. Hopefully there again soon ...

Last Sunday (November 15th, 2020) we had the whole St. Martin's goose for 4 people with red cabbage, kale, Thuringian potato dumplings as side dishes and sauce. It was just delicious. Ordered three days in advance by e-mail, the food was delivered free of charge in the heating cabinet in the agreed time window. Instead of masses of plastic packaging waste, the goose, which had already been divided into four, came with the side dishes in a stainless steel tub typical of catering. Only the sauce was specially delivered in a polystyrene pot. In addition, there was a bowl of goose fat as a small gift. Despite the long journey, everything was still nice and warm. The goose was tender and crispy, the dumplings as fluffy as they should be. Compliments to the Heydewirt team. We are happy to order again at any time! Everything is great at a fair price (€ 100 + € 20 deposit for the stainless steel tub).

Today, despite partial lockdown, we got delicious schnitzel. Great, freshly prepared. Perfect! The location on the lake is fantastic!

Due to the pandemic and the resulting delivery service, we are very happy to support you. Seldom eaten such a delicious and juicy duck. But my wife's meal (schnitzel with fried potatoes) was also very tasty! Even at a time that is not easy for gastronomy, the staff is still very friendly and attentive. Comfortable and very good care by the host and the very friendly staff including the kitchen staff. The restaurant is very large and allows many celebrations to be possible. Thanks for the hospitality, we'd love to come back

The review only refers to the beer garden, but actually a snack with a garden would be a more appropriate name. Very nice location on the lake, staff friendly, but everything was very simple and not exactly cheap for self-service. Ice cream in a paper cup with a plastic spoon, coffee didn't taste good. Return visit not planned, what a shame.

An idyll in my Brandenburg, nice hospitality, tasty food and for the "unit" also music ...... what more could you want!

I am very happy that the Heydewirt is here in Grünheide. A beautiful beer garden and tastefully decorated restaurant. I've already eaten a lot from the menu and am always looking forward to new recommendations. The two bosses as well as the super nice staff are always available. Great location to switch off and let yourself be pampered.

I am very happy to be with my girlfriend, friendly condition and the great view of the lake. We really enjoy the silence by the water. Keep it up. I would like to say one more thing, your offer is great. No matter if food or drinks.

My wife and I have just spent a wonderful weekend at the Heydewirt in Grünheide. We had the deluxe double room with lake view. Just a dream. Lake view all along the line, high-quality bathroom with shower and a romantic bedroom. You can really relax there. The food in the restaurant and in the beer garden was just awesome. Everything freshly cooked and really delicious! The waitress and the service super nice and friendly. We think the whole gastronomic concept is very successful and can only warmly recommend Heydewirt am Peetzsee.

Nice place, service unfortunately very unfriendly. On Sunday at 1 p.m. no food could be ordered for the beer garden, how annoying. The construction site of the new Tesla Gigafactory was a lot more exciting!

Very good, traditional cuisine with extremely friendly service. We have seldom felt so welcome ... and in a fantastic location right on the lake!

Well-located excursion restaurant with beer garden. Directly on the banks of the Peetzsee with its own jetty. The kitchen is good. A mixture of classics (e.g. pork knuckle with sauerkraut) but also interesting, modern dishes.

Great ambience. Super friendly team and very tasty food. Highly Recommended. You felt comfortable around. One likes to come back.

Very nice that such great gastronomy is at home here again. Nice attentive team. The menu is very straightforward, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There is also an extra menu with changing daily specials. Everything was freshly prepared. The portions are already generous, but the price is fair. We like to come back often in summer.

This weekend we visited heydewirt with our scoutsgroup. The people are the most friendly people i have ever met and the food was just amazing! Of you are nearby you definetly have to go there.
